Pyroengraved Leather Bracelets Pyrography ("writing with fire") is the art of creating designs with a hot poker. All of these bracelets were created with a heated piece of metal held in a wooden shaft. All the leather pieces used for these bracelets are actually scraps: leatherworking shops in Medellín, Colombia cut large pieces out of naturally uneven material and are left with smaller pieces, unusable for them, which are punched into the shape you see below.
